Cheap and Fun Disneyworld Vacations

Taking a vacation out to Disneyworld can be great fun, but only if you do the necessary planning beforehand, and understand some of the lesser known facts about how the park works. Don't follow the crowd when it comes to Disneyland -- if you go about it the right way, you can enjoy Disney relatively hassle free.

Perhaps most importantly, realize that you need to budget the tickets that you buy for Disneyland. There are actually several different options when it comes to tickets, and doing a little research here can save you a great deal of money. The price of a base ticket for one day in one theme park of your choosing is fairly pricey. It's important to note that the cost of attendance per day drops significantly the longer you stay. A seven day pass might end up costing you much less on a per day basis than going for only three days.

In addition to the length of your stay at the park, you also have several other options to consider. The Park Hopper option allows you to visit all the theme parks for a decent one time fee, regardless of how many days your tickets are for. If you are visiting Disneyworld for only a day or two, the park hopping option is probably going to be a waste of money. On longer trips, though, it's probably a good idea to have. Remember that you can upgrade your tickets at any time, but this can be a time consuming hassle if you wait until you arrive in Disneyland.

Other options to consider for tickets are the Water Park Fun & More feature, as well as the No Expiration option. You also have the option of going with the Premium Package, which is significantly more expensive, but offers a big list of perks. Many people do not realize that the water parks come at an additional cost, so keep that in mind when planning your trip. No Expiration tickets can be a great way to save money if you intend on returning to Disneyland sometime soon. Do a little research, and you'll probably find that purchasing No Expiration tickets is cheaper than buying separate tickets if you're planning on coming back relatively soon to Disneyworld.

Speaking of the Premium Package, there are a number of perks offered. First of all, you will have accomodations at a Disney resort. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included and are available at over 100 Disneyworld restaurants in Downtown Disney. Other attractive perks include preferred fireworks seating, admission to Cirque du Soliel, and unlimited access to recreational activities such as golf and horseback riding.

Once you're actually at the park, there are a couple of general tips that can help make your experience there as enjoyable as possible. Be sure to dress appropriately for your Disneyland excursion. Comfortable shoes are a top priority, as is sunscreen. You should also be careful not to carry too much while exploring Disneyland. Walking all around the park can be very tiring, and the less you're carrying, the better.

Remember that there are rental lockers located around the park gates. Use these lockers to your advantage. If you have too much stuff, be sure to use these lockers to take off some of the burden. You may not mind the extra weight at the moment, but after walking around the park for hours, you will most likely tire of the strain.

Be sure to do some research on your ticket options, pack sensibly, and you should have a great time while you're out in Disneyland.
